Railroad Man By Bill Withers
Story telling has been part of man from the very first day God created the first man. We're told that at sunset of each day and without fail, God used to go down and visited His man, chatting and telling celestial stories never heard by the ears of man.
This was of course, the very beginning of music, because every word which comes out of the mouth of God; becomes music to the ears and the heart of man.
In this story song, Bill Withers is reminiscing about the years gone by in his own unique reflective ways embedded in his memories. He paints the picture so clearly and bright till you can actually touch the sky that made up these memorable days for him as a young boy.
He uses his music genius in order to tell the story because he could not find any better and easy way to share this story with the world. And look at me now, here sitting under the African sun, I can relate and recall as if I was there sitting with Bill.
What are your memories made of today?
