MY BABY.... SHE'S ALL I GOT!

 

THE ONLY SIGN FOR ALL TIMES! 

I just can't tell you how much it saddens me whenever I see people mishandle the Word of Truth: it makes me wanna scream out loud in wild desperation. Every time some new and scary viruses hit the shores of this world, people start to panic and run helter-skelter; throwing hands in the air tormented by consuming fear. 

Coronavirus landed on our shores in China somewhere in November; even though the Communist regime tried to suppress information from being leaked out to the world. Like all viruses it's  an invisible viral outbreak and a very deadly pestilence. We're told that the Coronavirus is able to kill the infected victims within eight days. The number of the dead is rising every single day. 

Unfortunately, this virus doesn't have antibiotics and there's no available medication to treat it. One's fate with the Coronavirus depends entirely on one's immune system ability and strength to fight and kill the disease from within. It is a highly contagious disease and nobody really knows how it spreads around. If the disease was spreading through the air, then I reckon, by now all human race would be extinct and obsolete. We'd all be dead by now if this was the end of the world. 

Hear ye, hear ye! 

The Coronavirus is not the end of the world as we know it. 

The Coronavirus is not a sign from God to warn the world against sin. 

The Coronavirus does not signal and herald the Coming of Jesus Christ. 

The Coronavirus does not represent God's anger against the rebellious nature of man. 

It's certainly no more prophetic in nature than the rest of other known killer diseases. 

This world has seen the worst pestilences in the past which were even more deadly than the Coronavirus. I, like many earthlings, have no cover from this marauding killer disease and I have no tricks and means to defend myself. I can only lift my eyes to the mountains where my help comes from. My help comes from God Above. 

If God says, okay Sydney, it's fine if you die from this virus: after all, your time on earth is up. I'd say, sure Lord, your Will is my command: take me for I am ready even as I write this message now! 

Matthew 12:38-42

[38]Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

[39]But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 

[40]For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 

[41]The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. 

[42]The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

I somehow always find myself annoyed and agitated to the extreme every time I hear and see people trying to find the signs whenever the world is faced with unprecedented challenges. These kinds of panic aren't purely hard to fathom since they've been coming and going for time immemorial. Now with the outbreak of the Coronavirus the world has come full cycle again and panicking. Dying is a woeful thought to many hopeless people. 

In this special session I want to take you on a scriptural tour and help you to understand why God is not talking anything new to this world, no matter what's happening in our times right now. These are the Words of Jesus, the One so many of us are claiming  to believe in and praying through. Hello, remember we're not praying to Jesus but we petition the Father through the Name of Jesus? How do you read your Bible? 

John 16:25-26

[25]These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. 

[26]At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

See also John 14:13; 15:16 & 16:23. 

All these verses confirm one thing only, that we're supposed to petition the Father through the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ. There's not a single verse in the whole Bible where we're instructed to consult with the false prophets like T.B. Joshua, Kenneth Copeland and many others who claim to be speaking on God's behalf. The Bible is the user manual for all Believers, you don't need false prophets to assure you of anything! 

It is written in the Bible for you to open your eyes and ears: to see and hear what God is saying to this generation through Jesus Christ, His Express Image and the Only Voice of God; for yesterday, today and forever! God is silent and His Last Words were uttered by Jesus as He died and gave up the ghost on the Cross. 

John 19:30

[30]When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Jesus told His Disciples that the time will come when He shall no longer speak to them in proverbs but will do so in plain and simple language. And not will He do this but went further to say: I Jesus, will pray or petition the Father for you..all you need to do is Ask for anything in my Name! 

Matthew 12:38

[38]Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

The religious leaders of Jesus day were puzzled, confused and challenged by His life and ministry and felt the need to demand a heavenly sign from Jesus. They wanted this sign as the only thing that would make them believe that Jesus was the Messiah and came from God as He claimed. 

And how did Jesus respond to their foolish demand? 

Matthew 12:39

[39]But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

Wow, did you see that? Jesus actually jogged their memories about the story they all knew, the story and episode of Jonah: the prophet who tried to run away from God. Jesus told these religious fanatics that the episode of Jonah was the Sign from God. 

I guess they must have looked at each other with unbelieving eyes what they just heard Jesus said to them. Yes of course, these guys didn't know how the episode of Jesus tied up with Jonah's episode; therefore, Jesus had to explain how and why it all happened. 

Matthew 12:40

[40]For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Oh God, this statement made it all too complicated for these guys as they tried desperately to compare apples with apples. Just how does Jonah being three days and three nights in the belly of a fish have in common with this son of Joseph spending the same time in the heart of the earth? Where is the heart of the earth this crazy fellow is talking about? This Jesus is a weirdo, does he think he's Jonah now? 

Matthew 12:41

[41]The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

This is the crux of Jesus' message to these religious leaders and their generations because He knew they didn't believe Him. The Ninivites were not even Jews or Hebrew, they were a godless nation and tribe that didn't serve the LORD God. They were into idols and sacrificing to demons: but they believed Jonah when they heard the Word of the Lord through his mouth. They all repented and covered themselves in ashes and cried out to God with contrite hearts. God spared their city. 

Matthew 12:42

[42]The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

Jesus in this verse, is referring to the Queen of Sheba, an African or a Nubian Dynasty who traveled all the way to listen to the wisdom of King Solomon. Jesus says that God counted this the equivalent of the men of Nineveh's repentance. 

The Ninivites and the Queen of Sheba shall rise up on the Judgement Day and judge and condemn these religious leaders and their generation into Hellfire which burns with fire and brimstone for rejecting Christ as the Only Sign from God. 

1 Corinthians 6:3

[3]Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Jesus said He is greater than Jonah, and even greater than Solomon as He stood there in front of these religious leaders as the Only God's Sign for this sinful world. 

Now the same situation and scenario is repainting itself in this, our generation; as it did more than two thousand years ago. This generation has gone the way of Balaam and are seeking a sign from the so called prophets who do not serve the God of the Bible. And in case some of you are wondering what is God saying to this generation during these challenging times of Coronavirus? Answer… God is saying absolutely Nothing New from what He said through Christ Jesus two thousand years ago! 

Matthew 17:5

[5]While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

If this world doesn't take Jesus and believe in Him as God's Only Heavenly Sign, they will all end up in Hellfire just as Jesus warned the religious leaders of His day. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Only Sign from God for this world; not the Coronavirus. Jesus is the One True Sign! 

Let me throw the spanner in the wheels by upsetting some of you who think this is the right time to raise our voices and preach to the world that Jesus is Coming back! Sorry to say to you who do not understand the Gospel: we were not instructed to preach to the world that Jesus is Coming Back but, to Preach the Good News and the Acceptable Year of the Lord. 

The Good News is that one which says:

John 3:16-19

[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 

[17]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 

[18]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 

[19]And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

This is God's Final Testament and Will available to all those who believe in Jesus Christ as the Only Heavenly Sign from God! Again I repeat… 

The Coronavirus pandemic is not God's Sign for the world but Jesus, the Son of God is! 

His miraculous Birth, Works, Death on the Cross and Resurrection from the Dead and Ascension: is the Only True Sign from God to this sinful and rebellious world. 

1 Corinthians 1:23

[23]But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

You can panic all you want against the Coronavirus but it won't bring you any closer to God than you would if you believed in His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ of the Cross of Calvary..He is the Sign! Believe in Jesus and run very fast to Him!
