HERE AND NOW!

Here And Now!

Like a tiny seed germinating into a beautiful wild flower inside the fertile and moisturized earth.

Our lives as humans stem out from the tiniest seed of man.

From a blob of jelly-like nothingness, life blossoms and takes shape over time.

Here and now and after a full term of tossing and turning, a complete baby is born and is celebrated.

Here and now everything in every day feels like music in our ears, as life dominates.

Here and now becomes our today and every day forever.

Here and now, You and I in this oblivious Present. How soon we forget that the Hereafter all belongs to God!

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father.

Here and now becomes our opium to escape from reality beckoning us on the horizon.

Aren’t you concerned about where you will spend your eternity?

What eternity? You’re looking at it! Our eternity is now!

Here and now. Sometimes deceptions become too surreal till we forget the tears of sadness lurking around the twisted corners of time!

So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.

In this solitary verse where the coffin is mentioned once in the Bible. Joseph became the only mummified Hebrew in Egypt!

Here and now, we all know how God protected the young man from the hands of his wicked brothers.

Here and now and once upon a time. Young Joseph never ever dreamt he’d spend the rest of his life in the strange land of Egypt.

Right up to his last day, Joseph lived a life well pleasing to God. The LORD used Joseph to save his nation from the devastating drought.

Joseph kissed and embraced his jealous brothers even after they sold him as a slave to strangers.

Here and now like a force, life is a push or a pull. Whichever way forward, we always strive to win and make amends for all the lost time!

Life is joy and pain. These two virtues cannot independently exist of each other. We learned to cry before we could laugh.

O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

I stood up on top of my heightened frustrations and bemoaned the sad distance travelled without finding real peace for my troubled soul.

I staggered as I gasped for water to cool my dehydrate soul.

Believe it or not. Sometimes I feel God ignores all the cries of my tormented soul.

I look at all these little things I need, to make my life fruitful and worthwhile but always come short!

My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

Why art thou cast down, O my soul. And why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.

Here and now. Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy Book?

It is quite refreshing for me to know the LORD is documenting all my tears in His Heavenly Journal.

I will abide in the House of the LORD forever! I wait  for God in my solitude of faith, hope and praise.

Here and now. I shall ever continue to slumber inside the shadow of the Cross!

Have mercy LORD..
