THROUGH THE EYE OF A NEEDLE!
Through The Eye Of A Needle
Trust not in oppression and become
not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
These
profound words were pronounced by King David himself, in one of his many
Psalms. It is not even worth repeating and needless to refute the lies of
misquoting the Scriptures when it comes to material possessions and becoming
rich.
Money is the root of all evil… all
the least informed and uneducated individuals, like to puff out this vain dust.
The
love of money is the root of all evil. Do not set your heart upon riches when
you get even richer… this is the Gospel you will find in every page of the
Bible.
Believe me when I say to you…there’s
nowhere in the Scriptures where God says… thou shalt not prosper!
Interpreting
the spiritual with the spiritual… verse to verse and within the context of the
message… the safest way to understanding God!
Through the eye of a needle… is the
most quoted proverb in the world today because of the one would-be disciple of
Christ.
Do
you still remember the young man who unnervingly stood before Jesus and the Disciples…
fell on his knees and declare his love for Christ?
Lord, if you would… let me become like
one of your disciples. I want to follow you!
Amazingly,
the young man checked all the moral boxes as outlined by the Ten Commandments.
Wow, even Jesus was dearly impressed… and sincerely loved the young man.
Unfortunately, Jesus passed His
verdict on the over-confident young man… One thing which you lack in… go back
home and sell everything you have… give it all to the poor… then come back and
follow me.
Through
the eye of a needle… The young man’s face turned pale after hearing these shocking
words of Jesus. The Bible said, the young man angrily left Jesus standing alone
because he was very rich.
It is easier for a camel to go
through the eye of a needle than it is for rich people to enter the Kingdom of
God.
Most
rich people feel no piety for the poor and the needy because all the chambers
of their hearts are occupied with self-pride.
Who can forget the parable of Lazarus
and the rich man? How the rich man looked down on the poor Lazarus and even
spat on him and let his dogs licked his sores!
Lazarus
died and was taken by angels to Paradise meanwhile, the rich man died… only to
wake up in Hell.
Hello.
The
rich man did not go to Hell because of his riches but because he did not take
care of his fellow man when he was in the position of power and wealth… to look
after poor Lazarus!
Through the eye of a needle! This is
no joke at all… God is dead serious about the rich taking care of the poor but
the rich think that the poor are a curse even to God!
And
Jesus turned to the Disciples after the young man had hurriedly left
disappointed and said…
How hard it is for the rich to enter
the Kingdom of God!
It
is easier for the camel to go through the eye of a needle than for the rich man
to enter the Kingdom of God!
Through the eye of a needle!
If riches were the prerequisite to
enter the Kingdom, only 1% of today’s world population would make it to Heaven…
the rest of the poor lot, condemned to eternal flames of Hell.
I
don’t know about anybody else… but yea and yes!
The Spirit has opened my eyes to the
simple truth today… that if I want to see the world through the eyes of Jesus…
I must peek through the eye of a needle.
Through
the eye of a needle… the only way for the rich to qualify and be admitted to
the Kingdom of God.
