Let The Children Play!

We all once tasted and lived in the world of dreams. The only world where fantasy and reality collided in a tender embrace.

As kids we dreamed nonstop for straight 24 hours. Time couldn’t limit or tie us down. Parents struggled with our explosive energy every single day.

Everything about and around us, had to do with speed. Time didn’t matter to us kids. We did not have this incredible energy just because we ate too much. No, no.

We were hyped up and always ready to rumble because it was in our blood. Our blood particles were thicker than those found in grown-ups.

Now that I mentioned it. I believe the blood in our anatomy thins out as we get older. This then explains the reasons why kids have more energy to burn than adults.

Speed and energetic pace is just like simple breathing in the life of a kid. Walking barefoot under a scorching sun is just one of them ordinary days.

Hey kid, aren’t your feet burning in this crazy hot day? Where are your shoes? What shoes, the naïve kid shot back?

I can’t wear them shoes because they make my feet to sweat. Sometimes when it’s too hot I even slip inside my own shoes!

Damn, why did I even dare to bother this lighting bug? Damn kids, always have this incredible talent to answer any question correctly without even thinking.

And I hate to admit it, that at least half the time they’re always right. Kids have incredible wisdom stashed inside their little brains.

They’d be very proud if God had given them wisdom to understand this secret weapon they possess.

Let the children play. God knew that if He mixed wisdom and knowledge in the mind of a kid, they’d stop acting like kids.

Hello moms and dads! Innocence is the most important thing to protect and defend with your life in the life of a child!

Innocence was placed by God in their lives to act as a good element of surprise and discovery as their brains gradually develop and mature.

Remember, innocence and knowledge were designed not to share the same room.

In my own words as a former kid myself… innocence peels off and disappears when knowledge shapes up..

Sadly, kids of nowadays spend a great deal of their time watching movies, TV and playing video games.

I can’t begin to tell you about this narrative of just how much Social Media Apps are shaping the lives of our kids.

Let the children play, Suffer little children come to me! Jesus rebuked His Disciples after they prevented kids to come play with Him.

Let the children play. All the energy locked inside the kids is supposed to be burnt out by the sun as they play.

Staying indoors and doing no play is counter-productive in the life of a kid.

Is it any wonder why most kids of today struggle with obesity?

Parents think it’s love when they feed their kids junk food and then give them the remote control to doze off lazily in their sofas!

What a tragedy! Kids of today suffer from the same chronic diseases as their grandparents.

Lack of physical activity as in physical playing assault their blossoming fragile health.

Let the children play. If the giant blood particles in the kid’s life are not dismissed naturally through hyped playing, their antibodies become just as weak as their grandparents!

All work and no play, makes Jim and Jill the dullest kids! This is just a rhyme and a false doctrine when it comes to parenting in the homes of these kids.

Parents of today expect their kids to behave just like them. Kids need to play most of the time in order to develop in their God-ordained natural way.

This is the reason why there’s playing time in schools. Play breaks are necessary to help the kids bodies get rid of and burn  excess energy crammed in their blood cells.

Let the children play. Even kids who have higher than usual IQ for their age, must be forced to play.

Talented kids like Michael Jackson suffered a lot in their adulthood after they had their childhood stunted.

Is it any reason why Michael Jackson related more to kids than his age group?

Unfortunately for stunted kids like Michael Jackson, innocence lost and misplaced in childhood cannot be recovered later.

I really love Michael Jackson’s music, I have his complete discography.

Michael Jackson bought Disney Land because the deprived child inside him still longed for playing.

All the millions of dollars Michael had, could not fulfill his desire to recover his forever lost childhood.

Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

Hello Prosperity Preachers! Money does not answer all things! Because everything in life is not money! Michael Jackson had lots of it.

Stop raising your kids using formulas for adults and disguised motives.

You can’t rediscover your deferred dreams in the lives of your children.

I share all these thoughts with you because God secured my childhood even as orphaned as I was.

I remember just how we used to play all day long and still complained of not playing enough at bed time

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
