I WANT TO BELIEVE!
I Want To Believe!
God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that Power
belongs to God.
Also unto Thee O Lord, belongs Mercy: for Thou renders to every man
according to his work.
I want to believe that most Christians, especially the
mega church members: know for a fact.. All Power belongs to God!
David in this Psalm, reminds himself about what he heard and knew all
along. Power belongs to God only!
The Bishop. Eddie Long became the Pastor of the New Birth
Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta Georgia, 1987.
At the time of his takeover, membership numbers were roughly 300. Incredibly,
by the turn of the Century, there were more than 25 000 regular members.
In 2010, four young men came forward and accused the bishop
of sexually molesting them over the years; since they were fourteen years of age.
The bishop denied these allegations and tried to weather the storm by
hiding behind his congregants.
After a short while, Eddie Long agreed to settle out of
court for a whooping $25M.
I want to believe that only guilty people are willing to settle out
of court and hope the dust settles down sooner!
I want to believe that Jesus had divine reasons why He
called and invited sinners to follow no one else but Him alone!
I want to believe the reasons why God declared Jesus Christ as His Only
Express Image.
I also know that God ever since the Advent of the Cross..
Jesus is the Only Megaphone God uses to communicate with the World today!
The sad reality when talking about Bishop Eddie Long, he went to his
grave in January of 2017 without repenting from his sins.
I am not the man that’s being portrayed in the media! The
greatest thing is: every time I come to this church, you are always there for me!
The bishop said these moving words to the raucous applause of his gullible
congregants who sincerely believed their idolized Pastor was under attack.
Now, allow me to say to you, that like all men of flesh
and blood.. I am not perfect too!
Behold, I give unto you Power to tread on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
I want to believe that you all know and understand that
this Power given to the Apostles, was not designed for them to lord over other human
beings! Right?
The Apostles were given Authority which can only be activated through
the use of the Name of Jesus!
This was no power to present themselves as the most powerful
in their generation. In fact, they were the most humble of all people.
God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that Power belongs to
God.
I want to believe that people like bishop Eddie Long and
many false preachers, confuse their position of influence with the Power of God!
No man was ever given the Power by God at any time in the history of
the Bible!
I want to believe that you now know.. Power belongs to
Almighty God Only!
((((Power Power))) )! You can hear these empty echoes from across the
Globe. ((((Fire Fire))))! is all you will hear coming from behind some famous pulpits
of this world.
I want to believe God had better reasons for allowing only
His Anointed and Chosen Apostles, to demonstrate His Power thru miracles, signs
and wonders!
I want to believe.. at this point, you now know that your famous mega
church Pastor does not have the Power of God!
Jesus being the
Brightness of His Glory and the Express Image of His Person. And upholding All Things
by the Word of His Power!
Like David, I also believe All Power belongs to God!
You go to church for nothing but sheer entertainment in
the name of Christ!
You laughing at me?
Like the Early Church, there’s a growing number of Believers
who choose to worship God in the safety of their homes, around the world today!
Yes, go ahead and say.. ((((AMEN))))!
