SO, YOU THINK YOU HAVE A COVENANT WITH GOD?
So, You Think You Have A
Covenant With God?
And He took Bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and
gave unto them, saying,
This is My Body which is given for you: this do in Remembrance of Me.
Likewise also the Cup after Supper, saying, This Cup
is the New Testament in my Blood, which is shed for you.
Growing up as a young Christian, I was bombarded with false
doctrines of Kenneth Copeland and his ilks.
It was very strange and fascinating just how Copeland
believed he had a Covenant with God.
In the Old Testament, God cut the Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
This was not your 50/50 bilateral agreement between God and these three
mortals.
God kicked the door open in the wee hours of the
morning and commanded Abraham to rise up and get out of Ur! There were no
negotiations at all.
Abraham who was into idol worshipping at the time, knew he was
talking to the One True God... obeyed unconditionally!
Jacob was the last in the lineage of Patriarchs who
had a covenant with God. There are only Two Covenants in the whole Bible.
The Old Covenant or the Old Testament and the New Covenant which is
the New Testament.
For where a Testament is, there must also of necessity
be the Death of the Testator.
For a Testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of
no strength at all while the Testator liveth.
Whereupon neither the First Testament was dedicated
without blood.
So, you think you have a covenant with God? Are you Father Abraham
or Isaac and even Jacob?
Did you offer your sinful blood for God to sprinkle it
over His Mercy Seat for your sins?
So, you think you have a covenant with God?
Was Jesus talking about you when He raised the Cup of
His Blood at the Lord’s Supper?
For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.
Being justified freely by His Grace through the Redemption
that is in Christ Jesus.
O for His Mercy and Grace! Just where would I be today, in this
wicked world without the Blood of Jesus Christ?
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not
one:
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after
God.
They are all gone out of the way, they are together
become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Being justified freely by His Grace through the Redemption that is
in Christ Jesus.
All men have sinned and fell short of the Grace of
God.
Do you believe in God? Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists,
Atheists or Gnostic.. Are all sinners!
Before Passover ... Hosanna, Blessed is the King of
Israel! 24 hours later the same Jews condemned Jesus. Crucify Him.. His Blood
be upon us and our children’s children!
For I would not brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this Mystery,
lest ye should be wise in your own conceits. That Blindness in part is happened
to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so All Israel Shall be Saved: as it is written,
There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer and shall turn away ungodliness from
Jacob:
For this is My Covenant unto them, when I shall take away their
sins.
As concerning the Gospel they are enemies for your sakes:
but as touching the Election, they are Beloved for the Fathers' sakes.
For the Gifts and Calling of God are without repentance.
If Apostle Paul was ever given a chance of choosing to
whom he’d like to preach the Gospel.
Paul would have preferred to minister to his own people, the Jews.
But alas, the Gifts and the Calling of God are without
repentance. The Lord Jesus called and anointed Paul to be the Apostle of the
Gentiles!
So, you still believe you have a Covenant with God? No, you don’t!
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of
goats should take away sins. This is the Old Testament.
Please, cease and desist from abusing the Blood of Jesus Christ! God
didn’t authorize anyone to sprinkle the Blood on anything
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His Own
Blood.. Jesus Entered in Once into the Holy Place, having Obtained Eternal Redemption
for us.
For God so loved the World that He gave His Only Begotten Son.
That whosoever believes in Him should not perish but
have Everlasting Life!
This speaks of the New Covenant between the Father and His Son.
We are nothing but Heirs of the Kingdom of God through
the New Covenant!
Hallelujah!!
