THIS WOMAN RIGHT HERE IN MY HEART!
Related Narratives ....
People in the world talk and tell about many
fascinating stories they find dearest in their hearts.
Love, entertainment, survival and adventures. At best, all these furores carry different weights and meaning for different folks.
You see, I have moments in my life way back as a young
orphaned boy which bring tears of joy to my heart.
I was raised by my big brother and big sister as an orphan from
eight. These two people took over where Mama left, carried and guided my life
to what it is today.
I had nobody else to cry and run to after my mother
passed on. My sister and brother became my real parents, I was never alone in a
lonely world!
Just where do I begin to tell about this woman right here in my
heart? No boy has experienced so much love which only God can give!
One day I was excitedly told my big brother was
getting married the next Saturday. O boy! I was thrilled to the clouds!
Without exaggerating. I was happy as a puppy to say the least. My
smiles stretched all the way from ear to ear. I couldn’t sleep as I eagerly
waited to meet my new Mom.
Then finally, came this dream day which overshadowed
all other events in my life. It was the day, and we danced, sang and laughed as
our neighbours joined in this great celebration.
This woman right here in my heart! God knows I was happy as if I
was the one getting married. Nothing in the world compares to this one day in
the whole life of this orphaned boy!
My big brother’s wife became everything my dreams were
made of. Hey you! Linah became the New Queen in our house. I was happy.
This woman right here in my heart. Cooked, washed my clothes and
above all else, she loved me like a rock!. Linah Mbele was my Superstar.
I was proud to have her in my fragile life. Just going
to and coming back from school, retiring to sleep.. I knew she’s around. I felt
richer than the richest boy in the world!
Her demeanour, beauty and ever smiling face, complimented her
beautiful heart and soul. My late Mother was risen in her stillness!
This woman right here in my heart! I loved her with
all my heart! This poor boy was happy.
One day returning home for winter school holidays, Linah came out
running, picked me up like a baby, kissed, embraced me in her own special way.
I was loved and all the reasons to mourn my late Mama were
diminished!
Though gone for over a decade today. Linah Mbele. My sunrise, sunset, moon and
stars. I survive her loss by living inside her drizzling rain of her sweet
memories
Rest in Power and in Peace my Dearest Sister and Mother.
Your day on earth is done! This woman right here in my
heart.
Your loving footprints remain embedded inside the chambers
of my heart... Forever!
