YOU'VE GOT THIS!

 Yes, You've Got This...

God used the Blood of Jesus, His Only Begotten Son... to paint His Love in the sinful sand dunes of our hearts! You've got to read God's Love Letter for the World in John 3:16.

I wrote these words through my tears. Feel the wetness of my sobs loaded in each word. I dare you... You won't listen to these words without tears welling inside your eye sockets!

Michael Lington. Man, I can feel your heartbeat in every note coming out of your blessed saxophone. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. Your lyrical wind blows right down to Africa..

Thank you all, for listening. My Thoughts and Words mean nothing without falling inside the fertile soil of your souls.

God bless you!

You’ve Got This!

You can stay as you are for the rest of your life... or you can change to Mainstay... change to Mainstay!

I grew up listening to these words, advertising this alcoholic beverage. I heard these words over and over again. For years!

They were everywhere, on giant billboards, newspapers, magazines, TV and radio. We were setup and targeted right early in our youth.

I believe the most important choices of our lives are made during our carefree arrogant years of youth.

Reckless youth brings rueful age! If I got hypnotized by that misleading Mainstay deception, I’d be living to regret it today.

I thank God for helping me right early in my youth up... to make right choices for my health!

I watched and observed how lives were destroyed in my own neighbourhood as a young boy.

Our fathers were dropping like flies due to alcoholism.

You’ve got this and you know what I’m  talking about. I took a vow in my heart, not to touch alcohol or take a single pull from cigarettes!

Damn! How I just wish sometimes, I was as consummate and resolute in all the sacred vows I took in my youth. God Above, knows I’m speaking from my heart and soul.

You’ve got this man! Just take a stroll and have a look around in your neighbourhood. What do you see?

Mercy, Lord. What devastation and what an eyesore it is to even recognise people I grew up with: looking so dead while walking. It pains my heart!

One fine day I walked inside the shop when suddenly, I heard someone calling my name from behind.

When I was turned, oh man! I almost cried when my former classmate reminded me who he was. Alcohol had deformed this young man’s life beyond recognition.

You’ve got this my sister! I really don’t have time to preach to you and pull you by your bootstraps.

Hello. This is your life just like it’s always been since your teen years! Can you still hear those sobbing voices of your father and mother crying inside your stubborn heart?

Life is a savage boomerang! No one ever warned us in our youth how the same evil we did to others, would bounce back and consume us.

You’ve got this my friend. How sad and unfortunate that we failed to realise how wounded we were on the inside. There’s no deception like youth!

The thorns which I have reaped are of the tree I planted; they have torn me, and I bleed. I should have known what fruit would spring from such a seed... Byron.

You’ve got this and I get it too! It’s no use looking back over the years, and blame the dead for the thorns which sprung up from your own seed.

You’ve got this! Life is a seed that each and everyone of us plant by every step we take. We are born to move!

I’d pay God and give Him the moon, the stars and choose to cover myself with darkness. If only I could turn back the hands of time.

Granted this rare chance, I’d paint my life using Picasso’s gifted brush. And on the Judgement Day, my life will look like a Rembrandt!

You’ve got this! Our countdown in this world began ticking at the impact of conception! Growing up is growing out of time.

No human ever had equal footing with time no, not even Adam.

God keeps our time. If I could count the number of breaths I have left inside my lungs; maybe there’d be enough time for me to brag!

Time is priceless and no money in the world can buy time when it runs out of your life.

You’ve got this!
