MATILDA!

Matilda!

Not again!

Girl...

No... Hell-No!

You cannot keep on letting him do these things.... hurt you with impunity, treating you like trash.

There is a limit to everything in this life. You cannot just keep gobbling and swallowing these terrible things done on you...

On the other side of the phone, Gail was weeping and crying a river.... after absorbing and taking more blows from her abusive husband... Diamond.

Now.

Matilda, like her powerful name suggests... she was a no-nonsense independent lady who would not stand any form of abuse.

Two days later... after the spousal violence.

Matilda was eagerly waiting for the arrival of her best friend around the company’s reception lobby.

You see, Gail was beaten so bad and so black and blue...

She was left with no choice but to take a two-day sick leave to recover from her facial bruises.

Ironically, and very shockingly... Gail always believed Diamond loved her so much... despite all the violent abuse.

On the contrary. Gail got brainwashed by her mother, who also had to endure lifelong verbal and physical abuse from Gail’s late father.

Whatever happens to you two in your marriage... Gail’s mother confided and advised her daughter.

Stick to your man like glue and never let go. If you really love your man... nothing is impossible.

Keep your voice low no matter what he says or provocative he may sound to your ears.

Always remember.

This man is still your wedded husband.

Meanwhile and while pacing up and down around the lobby, Matilda saw Gail coming.

Gingerly walking towards her as if she was trying to hide something in her steps.

Hello Matilda... my friend!

Oh no!

My love... Come here.

Matilda holding back her tears.

Damn.

Girl O Girl...

I cannot believe that jerk got you so messed up... look at your eyes!

When are you going to free yourself from this nightmare. This man from the pit of Hell?

Gail could not even lift her head and look at her furious friend.

If you would let me, one day.

Matilda continued.

I can beat Diamond to a pulp. I will never stop till I have knocked all his front teeth out!

If you do not leave Diamond today... One day you will leave that house in a casket!

Wow.

Matilda is one of the rarest women in this male-dominated world.

Who would not take any abuse from any man.

Husband, boyfriend, or boss. All abusive men think and act alike!

In my whole life... there has only been one Matilda I knew from school.

I still remember her stern but beautiful face decorated by her permanent smile.

Oh, we used to get along so well.

Matilda was a good company for me to keep.

Matilda the name... meaning Battle Strength...is ranked 465 worldwide.

Yep.

Not a common name indeed.

But generally speaking,

All Matildas are always a force to reckon with.

Ladies.

If you have a Matilda as your close friend... do not lose her.

Keep her tight to your chest!
