THIS DAY TODAY!

This Day Today!

Even during the very seconds I was conceived, just as a tiny zestful speckle... Always jelly-dancing in faith, anticipating being taken in!

Vexing and throbbing within my heartbeat the only passport, I needed to life... I continued every single second, minute, and by the hour.

This day today continued to roll as I triumphantly discovered all the members of my body... piece by piece!

You see, even before I showed my face to this world, I had already learned to live for another day... this day!

Suddenly, one day, this day today... I finally hit the shores of this wicked world!

Hey, wait a minute, what had just happened here, and where’s the rest of me?

This day today! Poor simple me. My mushy brain informed me I was not alone... every time new ligaments tacked themselves to my body!

This day today! Detecting the closest friend I had was my mother... brought all the ease I needed to survive to this day!

This day today, turned out to be the real friend I would ever need after the passing of my dear mother!

I have since learned the great lesson, that this today will be my day today and tomorrow!

Nobody taught me that this day today, only lasts for this day. I learned and discovered this mystery after the four winds whispered to my ears.

This day today! Please, believe me when I say to you... This day today, will never be repeated in your life even if you were to live for a thousand years.

You really do not need to see the rising of the sun to know it is shining out there!

Would you believe me if I told you, even as the sun comes and goes around daily.... her sunrays will never fall upon your head the same way tomorrow forever!

This day today! Every morning, I wake up… I thank God for nudging me with His finger while I slept and softly whispers... Good morning!

Now, I have already seen enough Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays!

Mercy on me, Lord! Like a dog attempting to shake off the ticks from its body... no matter how much I deny this!

My day today will never be the same day it was yesterday! It don’t even matter if I had clothes enough to dress differently each passing day the entire year.

This day today. I have met people from all walks of life… and traveled across these sand dunes. Like all people, I drank from both the sweeter and bitter wells of life.

I knew how to laugh and relentlessly play alone when I was just a heartbeat before becoming my consummate self.

My life began in quarantine and was later hoaxed by the swam I met in this world. So, I figured, there would never come a time when I could feel forlorn and forsaken by all the people, I believed were a part of me.

I thank God, for fixing me right early in my life…at eight years old my mama passed away and left me alone in this day she had delivered me.

This day today. Though arduous and excruciating this life gets sometimes… this day today, carries me through and reminds me of another day I must conquer!

Who needs people when people have no time to spare nor even check on me: when I have this day today?

I choose to howl at the full moon like a wolf than to expect to be loved or given companionship people cannot afford.

This day today, is all I need in this life to keep me walking until that Final Day… when the Good Lord shall call me Home into His Eternal Day!

For the first time in my life this day today… I saw a fake witchcraft missile blitzing meters from where I was sitting, miserably missing its target, Me… this day today!

This day today. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Sadly, this shadow of death, attempted to end my life right inside my home!

But the Lord said, steady now! Sydney… I have given you this day today to triumph over all the javelins of the Devil! Thank You Lord… for this day today, my day forever…

This day today. Hello. This boy is normal and will forever cherish every single day which comes his way… this day today! Who can stand against us if God be on our side!
