VANTAGE POINT!

Vantage Point!

If you are lucky enough to find me, just before I breathed my last and asked this question.

What is the one thing in your whole life, which could be summed up as the greatest wonder you have ever experienced?

What is one thing you wished God should have given you enough time to understand?

I would sit up and smile at you and say, with a twinkle in my eye.

Money? Nope! Love and women, not a chance! People? Not close! World travel? No one can travel the entire world!

What about fame and fortune? Please, don’t give me that! Rich and wealthy people are the most insecure and unhappy individuals in this life!

Time, time! O God, it is time that I want more than anything in this life!

To understand and cherish the value of time more than people sweat all their lives, trying to make a name for themselves.

This is the vantage point and the last throw of the dice before I leave my body.

This precious vantage point of being able to allow my grandchildren one final hour, to ask me anything about this life in my life!

You really do not need to wait before your final breath for your children to ask life questions.

Nevertheless, children always take it for granted, the moments God give them time for a real close-up with their parents!

Is it any wonder why they spent their years crying over the grave long after time and vantage point had left their space?

Vantage point is the privilege earned. To see things within the same frame at the same time. It is the ability to give reliable advice and life direction to a perplexed soul!

If this life were not according to the fittest and the swiftest: generations before would have dedicated themselves to warning and guiding the ones behind.

Looking back over my shoulders, I can see all the tracks my generation has left behind. The feeling is very ominous because I can read and interpret them like looking into the mirror.

Vantage point in my life, would have grown wings like bird chicks thus allowing me more time to plot every step of my life in the future. What a dream this is, someone please, pinch my skin and wake me up!

Life, according to God; is the rising and the setting of the sun! This is nothing but, one day before the Almighty God. While we count days and years and interpreting this as the whole life; well, not the same thing with God.

Vantage point is I! looking at my life after bleeding all over the planes. Only if I was taught earlier about life challenges, stages, and middle age crises.

The aftermath of my miserable life, after all the beatings this cruel life met against me!

The thorns which I have reaped are of the tree I planted; they have torn me, and I bleed. I should have known what fruit would spring from such a seed... That was Byron, echoing his vantage point.

Sometimes, I just sit up in the dark, and whisper to myself: my vantage point.
