  My Honorary Commencement Address For 2025 And Yonder! It is with great humility and honour to stand before you in the comfort of your home and wherever you are. I thank the Almighty God for inspiring me to deliver this little speech of mine to the entire world. This once in my lifetime commencement address took shape after listening in stitches, to Kermit The Frog; delivering his first ever address to the graduates at the University of Maryland.   Fourteen Years Of Grace And Counting! Hello stranger. What would you do if I told you that the voice you are hearing now is echoing way down from the grave? This man and his voice, according to the rules of death; is supposed to be dead and forgotten at least for fourteen years today. I have never thought or imagined myself talking to the living from yonder the grave: but hey, here we are it is happening right now! Whether by hyperbole or proxy, it is impossible for this man not to think and imagine life outside the coffin he found himself staring at. The Bible declares, the living know that they will die one day, but the dead know nothing. I also believe that it is hard for a dying person only left with a few breaths, to lie and deceive the people congregating around his deathbed. Everybody Was Wrong! While approaching Planet Earth at my birth: I read these words... Welcome to the World, your Theatre of Dreams! Fifteen years later after all the hype of endless dreaming based on everything I imagined as success. Listening attentively to my teachers who provided me with necessary navigation tools. Slowly, I trudged and waded through these foggy rough terrains: looking for my rainbow. Up until this point of my life, I was told everybody was wrong but, no one dared to tell me the whole truth.   Happiness Is The Key But Joy! Before God released His man into the wild, the Beautiful Garden of Eden. Breathing into the lifeless body of Adam became the cue to his own tune, which was Life. Who can forget the day Adam woke up from his deep sleep after God had performed the very First Surgery ever known to men? Wow, Lord! She is so beautiful, and she looks so identical to me! During this time Adam did the very First Dance to express his gratitude to God. Amazingly, the man started moving from the left, then to the right and dragged his right leg to draw a circle of love on the ground. Then this time around, it was Eve’s turn to animate her Thanksgiving moves.   FOREWORD....   I wrote and dedicated this heart-sinking memoir to my two nephews. Sifiso now deceased, who went missing and only to return home after three years. Velaphi has been living like a vagrant for more than three years now; his whereabouts are unknown.  These words pulled every string of my heart and very painfully so. Timeout! Running out of time is not the end of your life. Running out of breath does not signify the end of the road for you on this side of Heaven. Remember, lost time is irretrievable.   You can work three times as much, trying to make up for the time lost. Working 24 hours straight cannot count for 48 hours in your one day. All humans, animals and all creations are subject to a twenty-four-hour day. The rise and setting of the sun have the same effect on us all in an equal way. Every time I wake up in the morning and look through my window nature says, hello and welcome to another day. Do I have a choice or any ground to argue that it is not a new day?   My Territory! When I was born into this world of pain, God allotted me my space, my territory. This act of grace made me one of the features in this arena of life complete with eight billion souls. Crawling all the way as a baby gave me hope that my feet would enable me to stand tall like everyone else and discover my horizon. Throughout my life, teachers have prepared me for the future. It will take my effortless stride and nobody else to reach the end of my rainbow! Territory typically includes land, assets, and resources.   Only If Time! If time could befriend, I would be the first human in line ahead of the entire world. After winning time to my side, I would spin my magic and be Mother Nature’s best friend. Like the wisest man, I would stand atop the highest peak and watch the clowns below, fight for their perishable silver and gold. Embracing time and walking instep with Mother Nature every day… would guarantee me ageless longevity never dreamed of on this side of Heaven! Only If Time.
