EVERYBODY WAS WRONG!

Everybody Was Wrong!

While approaching Planet Earth at my birth: I read these words... Welcome to the World, your Theatre of Dreams!

Fifteen years later after all the hype of endless dreaming based on everything I imagined as success.

Listening attentively to my teachers who provided me with necessary navigation tools.

Slowly, I trudged and waded through these foggy rough terrains: looking for my rainbow.

Up until this point of my life, I was told everybody was wrong but, no one dared to tell me the whole truth.

Everybody was wrong and nobody was right! Oh boy!

This meant everyone born before my time, left me misleading trails and footprints: I have been following for decades!

Imagine yourself facing the horror of going through the dark forest of life, only to discover after way too deep into nowhere: everything goes south; you miss your way out!

Everybody was wrong and nobody was right! This now sounds like a badly written rhyme with lines and verses stacked up like a pile of rubbish. Hello. You must sift through this messy life to make sense of it all.

Everybody was wrong and nobody is right. Why do I have to spend half of my life trying to figure out what went wrong with my first half? The clock on the wall can always be reset to correct timing but my time cannot be set back even by a second.

Since day one, I have been breathing with each pounding heartbeat and pushing forward with every horsepower I possessed.

Growing up is growing old, this is a fact of life in my life. Running as a kid was as easy as breathing. But alas, nowadays my steps are getting a little shorter and a little slower. What happened to all the reserves I used to draw out from, my well of life.

Everybody is wrong and nobody is right. If you get a good education, you are guaranteed to find a good paying job: you are on your way to a successful life. Years later, like a dog: I am still trying to catch the tail I do not have!

Hey, what happened to all my friends, all those faces which graced my world and kept me busy till I even failed to realize the sun had already gone down? Is the world peeling off from me or, is it me splitting from the rest of everybody else?

Everybody was wrong and nobody was right. Everything around my space keeps on changing, even the street names. The people in my world look stranger and use foreign accents and indistinct tongue I do not understand.

Is this still the same planet I was born into? I could always tell the difference and confirm it is still the same world by looking up the skies. The sky forever remains blue just it was like when I was a child!

Everybody was wrong and nobody was right. Life like the rising of the sun, my horizon keeps on beckoning me. Strangely, I find myself surrounded by massive bodies of waters out there inside the ocean, this is one bad unsettling dream for me. Ahem!
