THY MONEY PERISH WITH THEE!

Money is mentioned some 125 times in the whole Bible: with the Old Testament leading with some 101 mentions and the New Testament limping behind with only 24 references. 

I thought you'd be interested to know that there are four verses in Genesis 17 referencing Money as down payments for slaves. 

Slavery is as old as man: Slavery was never God's idea but men's way of bragging about their wealth! The ultimate weapon to lord over the poor! 

Believe it or not, Money is quoted some 32 times more in the Book of Genesis than in all the other 65 Books of the Bible.

The Psalmist and the Wise Man did not value Money more than Life itself since it gets mentioned only once in both Books of Psalms and Proverbs. 

Job and Ecclesiastes agreed too, after referencing Money only twice.

The New Testament also stayed clear from Money mongering since is only referenced in only six Books: with Matthew leading the pack by eight mentions. 

The first instance of Money had to do with paying taxes in the Book of Matthew: the very thing we all hate to do! 

American Billionaires are angry and cussing President Joe Biden for imposing a 20% wealth tax on them! What greed and selfishness!

Did I hear some greedy and grifting preachers say: Money Answers All Things? It's in the Bible, they argue when these charlatans are poised to steal 

Money from their ignorant and poor congregants! Fools go rushing in and flood these charlatans bank accounts with their hard-earned money after they've been lied to it's God's will for them to feed these greedy grifters! What a pity.

Money answers all things is not Money answers everything! If only we can learn to read the Good Book in its original context. 

Money is not everything and everything is not Money: reads my Bible! There's a total of 40 Trillion Dollars in the World Today and yet the same World cannot afford to buy Peace! Everywhere it's War!

And now abides Faith, Hope, Charity, these three; but the greatest of these is Charity. Love is God's greatest Gift to men. For God so loved the World that He gave His Only Begotten Son! 

All the Money in the World today, cannot buy Love.

Is it lawful for us to pay taxes? The Religious Hypocrites tempted Jesus in their evil trap; poised to accuse Him of treason if Jesus had said no.

Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription is this? They answered and said, Caesar’s! 

And He said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.

Jesus was effectively saying, all the Money in the World does not belong to God but to the man or woman whose portrait is embedded in that coin or note! 

The money you place in the offering basket in your Church is not worth more than the money placed on the betting table at the Casino! Why?

Because it's the same Money and God doesn't own or need it. Money prayed over in the Church or Synagogue is not more blessed than Money used elsewhere! $20 in the Church or Synagogue, is worth $20 everywhere!

Judas Iscariot sold Jesus Christ to the Religious Leaders for 30 pieces of silver and yet the same greedy man could not get around to spend his Blood Money. 

Instead of becoming a millionaire, Judas became the first recorded case of death by suicide in the Bible! The love of Money is the root of all evil.

Money cannot answer to love and buy it. Money can’t save your marriage. 

It cannot buy you God's Forgiveness and certainly won't buy your health when death is knocking on your door. 

Your most expensive Medical Insurance is just as useless as all the Money in the World to God: it belongs to Caesar!

And Job said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. 

Deliver us from all evils of this wicked World, LORD! 

Simon the false prophet, thought he could buy the Power of the Holy Ghost, but Peter shot back at him: 

Thy Money Perish with Thee...Have Mercy LORD!

SO, YOU THINK YOU HAVE A COVENANT WITH GOD?

COMMENTS ... Sometimes, to think that I'm in charge of what I write, where and when I like: is just a wish.  Yesterday I wrote a complete Soweto June 16th Uprisings Tribute.. two hours later, I've had to delete the whole thing. Why? Because l had no witness of the Spirit in my heart.  Well, that's just me! God gave me all these Thoughts and Words to play with the rest of my life. I have gazillion words to play around with.  This narrative came over me early this morning. I felt like God was reminding me of the Covenant between Him and Jesus.  Kenneth Copeland and all the false teachers dance around their mega churches and brag about the Covenant they never had.  I'm always left speechless whenever I see thousands run behind false teachers and false prophets as if they cannot read the Bible for themselves.  I follow Jesus in His Word and nobody else. I am the addict of the Doctrine of Christ!  Nothing fascinates and moves my heart and soul like the anointed Word of God!
