JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING!

JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING!

I will extol Thee, O LORD; for Thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me. The Bible says, He that hath the Son, hath Testimony!

It would be hard for me to share the same sentiments highlighted by David in Psalms 30 if I didn't know the LORD. It takes Faith and a closer Walk with God for one to exactly know: Who the LORD is!

If it had not been the LORD, may Israel now say; then the waters would have swallowed us up alive. The LORD lifted David from early in his life, as a ruddy boy of just fifteen years.

You see, David's father Jesse; never had the chance to teach his son how to handle his worst enemies. David was forced by circumstances beyond his youth, to learn to duck King Saul's javelins for fifteen long years.

Today's Youth are chasing the Shadows of Glory through the Mirage they call Idols! The very thought of being famous produces these delirious enzymes which mislead them to believe Success and Fame go hand in hand like a glove; and being loved by their fans!

Unfortunately, this has never been the case for more than 99% for all the Previous Idols Winners. O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. I can truly relate to this...

Unlike the Idols-wanna-bee’s, David's challenges were more complicated than any fifteen-year-old could ever handle! Young David never had or known any self-proclaimed enemies until God Anointed him to be the next King of Israel.

The Zeal of the LORD was always his strength in all situations: the boy even slew a lion and a bear which had attacked his sheep in the Wilderness!

Instead of repenting after being rejected by God, King Saul emptied his vile fury on young David. David spent his entire youth running from the deranged King! The young man spent sleepless nights in the mountains, forests, in the caves and valleys, hiding!

For His anger endureth but a moment, in His Favour is Life: Weeping may endure for a Night, but Joy Cometh in the Morning.

You will never ever, learn to survive in this wicked World without learning to seek the Favour of the LORD thru your unwavering Obedience! When everything seems to be going against your grain, it is time to Remember that the Joy of the LORD comes in the Morning!

Weeping throughout the Darkness of the Night is okay… But then comes the Morning with Joy, your renewed Hope and Faith in God!

Talking about me, well; I’m not the most Righteous Christian to ever walked the Planes of this World… I never regard myself to have attained anything when talking about the Almighty God.

Like all men of flesh and blood, I also struggled with sin and had my up and down moments, when I followed the Cross of Christ from a forsaken distance.

Like David, the LORD has brought me up from the grave, He’s kept me alive. I never will forget that once in my Life as a Christian, I became the Fugitive of Grace where I forgot all the Promises of God: and let Jesus down by living like a Rebel.

God said, My Word shall never return unto Me void: I have lifted My Word above My own Name! Sydney, I have invested my Word heavily in your heart from your Youth up: there’s no way I’m going to let the enemy, corrupt My Seed inside your heart and soul!

This was God’s Payback Time, for me to remember all that God has done: His unmerited Favour. Just to think of how God has kept my Life together: is enough for me to remind Him daily… This is it LORD; no more wandering away from your Presence till I breathe my last in this World of Sins!

And in my Prosperity, I said, I shall never be moved! It’s hard for me to look back and see, I’ve been unbankable and lived outside the Mainstream Economy for ten long years and yet: The Joy of the LORD, always came and lit up my Mornings!

I never fret and give up on Life because God the Almighty, always whispers His Anointed Word to my heart and keeps me going against all odds! Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him.

Fret not thyself when the wicked prospers! In Him, I live, walk, breathe and have my being. The Joy of the LORD is my Strength… and this too, shall pass!
