Please, Mind Your Steps!

I believe life would have been a bed of roses had I been forearmed with a complete roadmap upon arrival. Is this even feasible in real life? I doubt it.

One side of the brain argues I would have been in no position to translate even the simplest rule inside this dream roadmap.

The other side laughs out loud and touts me of being a nutcracker even for thinking this way! Why not?

Oh yes, you wouldn’t have the knowledge nor the wisdom to follow through all the advices dealt to you!

Every single step we take forward in life is a revelation.. we don’t get to see what’s around the corner until the turn is completed!

Please, mind your steps, is the least and the final warning you’ll ever get. Please, do treat this as the only disclaimer life will ever shout out loud!

In my naivety I walked in with a shiny forehead and came out the other side with a bruised face.

Life indeed, is filled with shocking surprises.. sometimes we laugh at ourselves for having been complete fools.

But sadly, oftentimes we cry and weep out loud for failing to avert this looming obvious danger.. look at me now!

When I was just a rugged boy, life looked so simple and easy to navigate. At least this is how things appeared from my distant boyish horizons.

Nobody ever taught me that every single successful step taken is a build-up for even harder steps ahead!

To be forewarned is to be forearmed! Unfortunately, this is not always the way things turn out.

It would help a great deal if I was armed with virtual foreknowledge of all the terrains, hills, valleys, mountains and rivers to cross!

O Lord! Only if I knew.. I would have avoided taking this unfortunate turn with every fibre of my being.

Life is nothing but a glossary of hopeless regrets and exhaling .. the unbearable load of our painful past!

Mixing sweetness with bitterness, always leaves us tizzy and confused to our nines and sixes!

Please, mind your steps! Crawling, walking, running upstream and downstream are all part of life!

True life lessons are always handed down to us by those who travelled the road before.

We spend most of our time trying to figure out the next steps ignoring lessons handed down to us by time!

Sometimes, looking back is not always wisdom!

We’d achieve more in future when we learn to collect all the nuggets falling off from the table of the wise before our time!

Like real soldiers of war trained by real generals, we’d be able to face life taken in boldest strides after being forewarned!

Please, mind your steps....

BETWEEN THE EARS!

  Between The Ears! Hearing in a newborn baby, is one of the earliest activated senses... even before this baby could see. Words get spoken out and start to reverberate around the head and get trapped between the ears before they make sense to the brain. Babies, learn to interpret sign language and by reading lips ahead of understanding the language spoken in their homes. Is it not amazing and refreshing that we learned to smile after seeing our mothers demonstrate their warm smiles and mimicked them joyfully kicking with all fours? Between the ears... Our North and South Poles... sustaining our lives through balanced intelligence.
