DON'T FLIP THE SCRIPT!
Flashback...
Behind every story, there’s a story! I really cannot tell
when’s every story regarded as original.
More than half the time, characters inside a story aren’t the
ones who usually get to tell that same story.
A story is usually told or retold through literary interpretation
by its admirers and critics.
Many times, people inside the story strangely discover themselves
after listening to their own story narrated by others.
Writing this teaser has been somewhat very challenging for
me; to string all the words from the first line to the last.
Remember, a story is a collective of words loosely tied
together to generate an invisible picture.
I am practically painting another world which can only be
visible through the eyes of understanding the story painted in words. Words,
are you kidding me?
Yes of course, this is the most difficult part for many
people since they’re lazy to read anything longer than fifty words.
After writing about the Scriptures, poems, essays, political
commentaries, etc. Over the years. I came to conclude that most of us are too
damn lazy to read.
Unfortunately, and despite all the technological advancements
in social media et al: nothing will replace physical reading right to the end
of the world.
I’ve read in the Good Book that the last books will be opened
and read for the people on the Final Judgment Day! Ouch! Sorry mate, we just
have to carry on reading right to our graves!
I wrote this teaser on July 16 and almost deleted it. I
carried on the next day by scrapping almost the entire document because I wasn’t
satisfied.
Archived it and tried to forget the subject, but nay; thoughts
kept coming back. I yielded and modified it on August 4th. Packed it
away again till last night, August 30th where I eventually
discovered the magic and produced it.
I couldn’t do so until I was forced to dump about eleven
chapters, all located at the bottom of this finished product. I usually find no
use for rejected verses and so, I simply delete them.
I want you my readers, to count the cost and the price I
have to pay by sweating it out for you, to read my stories which do not even
cost you a cent. I write these narratives out of the pureness of my heart for
you!
The least you can do, is by playing your small part and wear
your heart on your sleeves. Like, Comment and Share my posts if I bring any

Don’t Flip The Script!
Imagine if you and I were
living in a world filled with billionaires. In this world of abundance of money.
Every
person sits on the top branch of the tree. What could possibly go wrong? After
all they say, money makes the world go round! Really?
What about basic services,
like housekeeping, maintenance, etc.? In this idyllic world, everyone uses
stash of money for pillows at night.
Hello,
don’t forget nobody cares what their neighbour is doing.. we all have tons of
money! Cash is king!
Well, except for few other
less important things which the billionaires of this world tend to ignore.
In
order for one to be king, there’s a dire need to have a kingdom filled with
people first!
There can be no kingdom
without established and dedicated kingdom suckers.
The
newly crowned King Charles III would be irrelevant without his English devotees
who have pledged their souls to the crown!
It is hard to show off and
be downright braggadocios when everybody is equally powerful and filthy rich
just like yourself.
This is
literally living in a world with no spectators, no one to hero worship anyone..
We’re all superstars.
Our whole world is nothing
but Hollywood with no Oscars! There are no bad actors in our world, each one of
us is the best actor there ever was!
We’re
all winners around here and no workers unions to demand unjustifiable living
wage.
Good day stranger, my
friend from across the table of common sense.
Don’t
flip the script! There’s no reason for you to quit on yourself! Remember
millionaires have million reasons to have sleepless nights.
Don’t flip the script and
don’t look down on yourself now. You’re the only best person in this life to
sit next to you. Give yourself a hug and pet your back!
Please
take it from me, the common man. Billionaires have billion reasons to keep them
awake at night.
Every time poor people rise
up and demand equity and justice as bona fide citizens of this earth. They
quake and tremble with fear.
Billionaires
and grifting politicians live in the same corrupt world.
Please don’t flip the
script! Why do you think politicians never ever campaign in billionaires acres but
in the ghettos?
You
see the sleazy politicians know that the real voting power belongs to the People.
We the People!
Here, come closer to the
mirror! I want to introduce you to someone important in this world. Without
this person there’s no You.. You do not exist!
Don’t
flip the script, disappoint And let yourself down. There are billion reasons
why Mother Nature embraced and nurtured you for nine long months!
Don’t flip the script! Believe
it or not, you’re the reason why this world is turning 24/7… 365 Days!
God
is counting on you to continue this world when you share your survival story to
others who flipped their scripts.
You may not be celebrated
like a superstar but, don’t forget this.. That next-door neighbour who frequents
your house needs to hear and see your face in order to live another day!
Don’t
flip the script! Now you know all the reasons why you ended wherever you maybe!
Living in a shack, tin
house or even under the bridge.. God needs your services wherever and whenever!
There
are people of like nature who look like you everywhere.
