THIS BOY!

This Boy!

Like a cat, yes, a boy has nine lives too. Whatever a boy wants, he will end up getting! A boy never gives up because winning is just another day in a boy’s life.

You see, boys spend their time dreaming. Always trying to find ways to discover whatever is hidden behind that forest or that mountain.

Even though boys may seem like they rely on their mothers; retrospectively, boys live in a male dominated world of conquests.

Come on, give us a break! We do not believe in fairies like girls. Who has time to play when only muscles and toughness are required?

Hello.

This Boy is a believer and believes in prayer like you have never seen. Please, hear me out.

Boys have seventh sense; they believe in the most impossible and unimaginable things. Every time a boy looks up the sky, take heed; because this boy remembers everything he was taught about God.

Boys lift their eyes towards Heaven and talk to God silently with their hearts bowed. Nobody understands boys like God.

When I was a boy, would you believe me if I told you that God answered all my prayers! God didn't care if I was clean or dirty on the inside?

My Father in Heaven, did not push me away and said, Hey boy, you have no right to stand before me after breaking your neighbour’s window. You got your younger brother punished for your sins, remember?

Sometimes, adults look at them boys and mockingly say; What good can come out of these oddities? Leave them alone! Let boys play and give them bread when they are hungry.

O boy, have I got news for you! God believes in boys because He knows they are His future.

Do you still remember the twelve-year-old young lad who slaughtered a giant? Yes, O yes; his name was David!

This boy, David, stood up and defied the warrior who was armed to the teeth. Even his elder brothers scolded him for being too ambitious.

An hour later, the giant was on the ground; dead! His head severed by this boy who believed in God and saved the whole nation!

Can you spot my face painted all over these pages of life? O yes, here I am!

One evening while selling my big brother's merchandise at the train station, I was misled into the dark and robbed by a wicked man.

On the way home inside my brother’s motor tricycle; I remained unusually quiet and silently prayed to God while the other boys were sharing jokes.

Guess what happened when I counted the money? Every cent was there, and God even gave me more. I had extra money which I pocketed for the Saturday movies on the next day.

Sadly, unlike David: this boy forgot to go back to God and thanked Him for bailing him out of the impossible situation.

What else could this boy do, after being robbed in the presence of everyone else? Sharing my odd ordeal, would have ruined my reputation and hence I lifted my eyes towards Heaven and talked to God.

Come on people! Just let him be. This boy is normal!
